Custom Cedar Stairs
This was built at the end of 2021 for a client who wanted access to the roof of his garage overlooking the ocean. All the work from the concrete slabs to design and construction were left up to me. This is my largest stair project to date and it was really fun to design and build.

Puzzle Table
This was a personal project as my wife loves doing puzzles. We also needed a new coffee table so this was a great solution and a very fun project. She chose an African Zebra Wood for the upper along with a cedar base with birch drawers and inner pieces.

Massage Therapy Clinic
We had a space in our house that was unfinished since we moved in. Origionally it was the downstairs rec room and we were going to redo it for the same purpose. My wife was tired of the commute to town and we decided to renovate and finish the space as a massage therapy clinic. We excavated tons of dirt from the rear of the house under the deck, cut in a new entrance, did all the retaining walls, stairs and exterior entrance work. Then on the interior we turned the old closet into a two piece bathroom and installed double french doors to seprate the treatment room from the waiting space.

Backyard Projects
Much of my experience starting out and where I created my passion for carpentry was on my own property since 2010 and it is still ongoing. When we moved in the house was in disrepair and the deck was rotting. We ended up stripping off the deck and rebuilding it. Then over the years we have added roofs, pergolas, sheds, a shop and various storage and access solutions to suite our needs.

Fitness Club Renovation
For about 15 years I ran two successful fitness clubs. I did many renovations over the years at both locations from modifiying workout spaces, various carpentry projects to full on renovations. These are the photos of Sooke Health and Fitness. We undertook a massive renovation in 2015/2016 at this location where we doubled the space, moved walls and basically created a new club. Some of the photos are as it looks today and has had equipment upgrades since the renovation but the bones and design are all the same.

Income Suite
This is a renovation I did on my personal residence after we purchased the house back in 2010. Everything was taken back to the studs and redone, along with a very rigourous soundproofing process that has worked out very well for us. All the carpentry work was done by myself evenings and weekends while I worked my day job. This was one of my very first big projects by myself and it started my interest in carpentry and renovations.
